RaatX

Raat means night. Someone is awake.

Padlocked

Every night worker owns a locker with a padlock. This page lists what is inside ours, and the reasons.

What is in the locker

  • Your email, a hashed password, first name, birthday, gender, and extras you tuck onto your slip.
  • Your breaks, plus the handover notes a woman writes to recall you.
  • A pair of cookies: one carries the session, the other records that you cleared the shutter.
  • Payment records show a sum and a reference number. Bank cards never reach us.
  • Plain server logs, held briefly, for security.

What it is used for

The reasons: running the chat, enforcing the floor rules, keeping the building open. A program of ours, or a single provider restricted to that work, handles your messages, and safety screens read them as well. Nothing you say is sold on, and advertisers read none of it.

Counting the night crowd

One small counter records how many arrived and through which door. It has no way into a break.

Your controls

Inside the conversation menu you can amend what a woman noted about you, save the break or clear it. To close the account, email the footer address from your registered mailbox and everything goes. If the law where you live grants further rights, name them and we apply them.
